White Mud Works was my porcelain button and cabinet knob ceramic business during the 1970s in the Santa Cruz Mountains. I wholesaled buttons to fabric stores up and down the west coast; Orchard Supply Hardware purchased my cabinet knobs. Soon I’ll be posting options to buy buttons and knobs that I still have from that period that are high fire (Cone 10) reduction porcelain. Buttons are machine washable (turn garment inside out); knobs are also very sturdy with knurled inserts and come with 8/32 screws for drawers or cabinets. Knobs are $10 each; and buttons are $5 for the small ones and $7.50 for large.
